My Written Thoughts

I keep having this idea lately, that i have a greater purpose in life than to just settle down on this 9 hour routine for the rest of my working life. I'm talking about music. It's what i love. Since me & my band successfully recorded two songs which my friend Shaiful (Epul) wrote himself, I've been having these urges to do it again. Now that i have experience doing studio time and getting somewhat familiar about it, my heart is secretly begging for more. It doesn't matter if i have connections or not in the music industry (we really did have connections, which drove us to start recording in the first place, but that's a whole different story), that there's no guarantee that any particular song would make it in the long run, but it's all about expressing my ideas and delivering messages to the world (if any). Whoa..the last time i wrote on this site was like...January this year. So much for the end of the world, huh. In your face Mayans! In your face Nostradamus! Haha..well still, alhamdulillah nothing extreme happened throughout this year. Just some bad weather and a handful of natural disasters across the globe. Anyway, I'm glad to be alive and glad to welcome the year 2013. My new year's resolution would be to lose weight (same as last year as i recall), to slow down or possibly quit smoking, and to be a more responsible husband & father. Well, that's it for now. So, its finally 2012, the year of destruction, the year of apocalypse (pfft..at least that's what they say). The year when cataclysmic events take place. The year when the world ends according to the Mayan Calendar. The year when scientists and astrologists say that a powerful Solar Flare might burst out of the sun and hit earth, wiping out two-third of the world's population. I'm not a skeptic person but i highly believe that the only person who knows the exact year,even more the exact date of the end of the world would be God (besides the Solar Flare scenario which logically might be true). True or false, which ever it may turn out to be, the issue is still widely up for debate. I say we move on with the preparations first. Make preparation for supplies. I'm not talking about food and those kind of stuff. Preparation for the hereafter. I'm not trying to preach, and it's not like no one else doesn't know it, but it is merely just a self reminder.
